Grandfather’s House

This was grandfathers(Elias King) house in Little Hr. Trinity Bay, NF.

I remember going there once to get an old flat up in Little Hr. Pond. I was with dad and Uncle Eric. We stayed in the house a couple of nights. There was an old trunk at the top of the stairs with grandmothers clothes in it, someone had opened it and done a job on grandmothers clothes. Grandmother had passed away a number of years before this.  All this happened after resettlement, nothing was sacred or safe, thieves ransacked and stole everything. After that incident my Uncle burned the house.
